Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Paygent, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Service Description

Paygent is non-custodial, self-custody software: a hardware-secured smart wallet for AI agent payments. It uses Secure Enclave (macOS) and TPM (Linux) for P256 key storage, ERC-4337 Account Abstraction for gasless operations, and Safe smart accounts for on-chain authorization. The software enables AI agents to make payments within hardware-enforced and on-chain spending limits.

Non-Custodial Software

Paygent is non-custodial. Your funds stay in a Safe smart account that you own, and your private keys never leave your device. We do not hold or control your funds or keys, and we never make a transaction for you — you approve and sign every one on your own device. See our Regulatory & Custody page for more.

Fees

Any fee Paygent charges is for the software and for getting your transaction onto the blockchain (network and gas costs). It is not a fee for moving your money. Your funds never pass through Paygent, and the fee reflects the cost of processing your transaction — not a percentage of the amount you send.

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for securing your device. Loss of device access may result in loss of wallet access.
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You acknowledge that sent funds cannot be recalled.
• You are responsible for understanding gas fees, network conditions, and smart contract interactions.
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

No Warranty

Paygent is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

Introspective Labs, Inc. is not responsible for lost funds, failed transactions, gas fees consumed by reverted transactions, smart contract bugs, blockchain network outages, or any financial losses arising from use of the software. In no event shall liability exceed the amount you paid for the software.

Prohibited Uses

• Money laundering or terrorist financing
• Sanctions evasion or transactions with sanctioned entities
• Fraud or any activity that violates applicable law

Intellectual Property

Paygent's source code is open source. The client libraries are licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and the protocol definitions under the Apache License 2.0; each repository carries its own licence text, and those licences govern your use of the code. You may read, modify, redistribute and build commercial products on it accordingly.

The name is separate from the code. Paygent, the Paygent logo, and associated trademarks are property of Introspective Labs, Inc., and no open-source licence grants trademark rights. See our Trademark Policy for what you may do without asking.

Hosted Services

We operate optional services that make Paygent more convenient: an RPC and bundler endpoint, a message relay for approvals, and a fee-payer for Solana network fees.

None of them is required. Paygent is designed so that you can operate your wallet with your own keys against public blockchain infrastructure, with every service we run bypassed. If all of them were switched off, you would still be able to move your funds and approve your own transactions. That is a deliberate property of the design, not a fallback we happen to leave open.

Because they are conveniences, they are provided without any availability guarantee. We may rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue any of them, and we may decline service for use that is abusive, unlawful, or degrades the service for others. We do not guarantee uptime, and no outage of ours entitles you to compensation — your funds are not held by these services and are not at risk from their downtime.

Modification of Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the application or website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
